General Worker – Weighbridge Assistant

• Reconciling dada captured from weighbridge

•Processing of Bagasse and Cane Grab hours on FMS 

• Managing and recording the weight of vehicles and their cargoes using a weighbridge.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker –  to ensure managing and recording the weight of vehicles and their cargoes using a weighbridge. Under direct supervision, performs routine clerical support for functional groups such as copying, distributing mail, performing simple calculations and maintaining records and files following standard procedures with all work certified or checked.  Reconciling dada captured from weighbridge Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.

• Medically fit • Reliable • Work in a safe manner i.e. Ensure all safety requirements are adhered too • Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays • Clean criminal record • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used • Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours •  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team • Excellent organizational skills a must • Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision • Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor • Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
