Warehouse Assistant – North Region;
Location: Nampula or Pemba, Mozambique;
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor – North;
Work Environment: Remote or semi-remote depot;
focus on security, stock integrity, and community-facing logistics;

Funções

• Receive and verify goods arriving from southern hubs or international air/sea shipments (e.g., via Dar es Salaam or Pemba Port);
• Securely store inventory with extra vigilance for asset protection and loss prevention;
• Prepare orders for distribution to remote clinics, mining camps, retailers, or project sites across Nampula, Cabo Delgado, and Niassa;
• Assist in maintaining accurate manual or digital stock records, often with limited system connectivity;
• Support emergency or priority shipments (e.g., medical, humanitarian, or infrastructure-related) with urgency and care;
• Adhere strictly to safety, documentation, and chain-of-custody procedures;
• Work collaboratively in small teams with high levels of personal responsibility and initiative;

Requisitos

• Grade 10–12 (or equivalent);
  basic literacy and numeracy required;
• 1–2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or stock handling (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles);
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg (with proper technique and support);
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety and team cooperation;
• Basic understanding of stock rotation, labeling, and storage best practices;
• Fluency in Portuguese (essential);
• English or local language (e.g., Emakhuwa, Kimwani) is an advantage;
• Willingness to work on-site, Monday–Saturday, as per operational needs;
