Location: Beira or Chimoio
Funções
- Lead warehouse operations serving the Central corridor, including coordination with Beira Port and rail freight partners (CFM);
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods exposed to higher humidity and seasonal weather risks (e.g., cyclone preparedness);
- Manage stock for key sectors such as agribusiness, construction, and mining suppliers—requiring attention to batch control and FIFO/FEFO practices;
- rain and supervise local warehouse staff, promoting safety culture and operational discipline in a dynamic environment;
- Collaborate with procurement and transport to minimize stockouts during road disruptions (common on EN6/EN1);
- Maintain compliance with national and donor-agency logistics protocols (where applicable, e.g., for NGO or development-sector clients);
- Drive continuous improvement in stock accuracy and order turnaround despite infrastructural constraints;
