Location: Nampula & Pemba

Funções

• Manage warehouse activities in the Northern zone, often serving remote clinics, mining sites, and rural distribution points;
• Ensure strict inventory control and asset security in a lower-density operational environment with higher logistical lead times;
• Supervise local teams with an emphasis on mentorship, safety, and cultural sensitivity—often in multi-ethnic, multilingual settings;
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and air freight partners for time-sensitive deliveries (e.g., medical supplies, project cargo);
• Implement robust documentation and audit trails to support transparency and donor or corporate compliance requirements;
• Proactively manage stock levels considering longer replenishment cycles from Maputo or Dar es Salaam;
• Act as a key liaison between headquarters and field operations, providing ground-level insights on market access and logistical bottlenecks;

Requisitos

• Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics supervision experience, preferably in fast-moving goods, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or general distribution;
• Proven leadership ability—able to motivate teams, enforce discipline, and drive accountability;
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
• comfortable working with minimal supervision;
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, email, ERP/WMS systems);
• Fluency in Portuguese (essential);
• English is highly advantageous;
  Local language skills (e.g., Emakhuwa, Cisena) valued in North/Central;
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-site daily;
