Goals and deliverables

Lead by example to foster a culture of safety within both Client and EPC Contractor teams, demonstrating a thorough understanding of HSE principles.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements throughout all work activities, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Support the Area Manager in all delegated responsibilities pertaining to the Pipeline and Utilities team.
Ensure the team consistently meets performance standards and fulfills all corporate requirements.
Promote team spirit, encourage collaboration, and build trust among team members. Immediately report or communicate any incidents occurring within the assigned area.
Monitor all construction activities within the area in accordance with project requirements and construction procedures, through to final system handover to the Commissioning team, with a particular focus on Company responsibilities.
Cultivate strong working relationships with the EPC Contractor for daily management and effective resolution of critical issues.
Facilitate the development and review of execution plans, method statements, and other relevant procedures to ensure alignment with project strategies and the safe, high-quality, and timely completion of works.
Maintain a visible presence on site to visibly demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and construction oversight, enabling direct contact with Contractor and Subcontractor teams.
Review EPC Contractor construction progress, provide input to internal construction reporting systems, identify schedule deviations or risks, and propose appropriate mitigation measures to management and the EPC Contractor.
Support management by supplying input and coordination for overall site management within the area of responsibility.
Assess current and anticipated issues, identify potential risks using technical expertise and experience, and propose or influence technical and organizational solutions, including the integration of lessons learned and best practices.
Oversee the physical execution of all phases, including precommissioning and the transition to commissioning activities, including during SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations).
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the EPC Contractor’s construction management processes.
Attend all necessary construction planning meetings to ensure thorough follow-up on issues and action resolutions.
Coordinate with quality department to oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes to guarantee that all works meet the required standards and specifications.
Support the planning and execution of site emergency drills and participate in incident investigations as required.
Ensure proper documentation and handover of completed work packages and as-built records to the operations/commissioning teams.
Promote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and innovation within the team and among contractor personnel.
