Responsibilities:
Transactional Products & Services
- To define and drive the vision and strategic direction of Working Capital & Supply Chain Finance (SCF) within Transaction Products and services (TPS) South Africa (SA) Trade for Wholesale Clients (WC) & Business & Commercial Clients (BCC). Manage the Working Capital & SCF product portfolios end-to-end value chain by implementing leading innovative and global best practices to meet client requirements; managing relevant risk aspects associated with the WC and SCF portfolios in order to maximise revenue generation for TPS SA, WC and BCC.
Trade
- Requires in-depth knowledge of Trade and Working capital product sets and techniques , client requirements, market analysis , data analysis and technology to direct product development to ensure high return on investment (ROI). Includes designing and negotiating solutions for clients to meet their working capital needs with a special focus on Working Capital and SCF products. Able to navigate through the complexities of multinational companies trading across markets, segments and regions considering the impact of macroeconomic factors.
Product management
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Working Capital &SCF product disciplines with a well-developed appreciation of how the product sets meets different client needs and requirements to drive and improve product profitability throughout the product value chain.
- Demonstrate thought leadership on Working Capital & SCF discipline, including maintaining and driving awareness of pace of change, disruptions and innovation. Act as a trusted advisor, providing clients and internal stakeholders with regular product, market and sector updates, insights and thought leadership to support client business strategies/objectives and decision-making enabling market competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Economics or Engineering and Business Commerce.
- Post-graduate qualification and Trade certificates.
- Experience: 10 years.
