Job dimensions

• Mentoring Protection Force personnel so that they are fully implementing VPSHR guidelines while at the same time they keep a high operational level to protect Project’s operations
• Being responsible for the organization of Project’s logistical movement along Layer 3 areas.
• Being responsible of the contractors’ convoy organization in coordination with contractors and the related escort movement
• Ensuring that all project’s related socioeconomic activities have the right security support and the most updated security awareness information of the concerned area.
• Being in charge of socioeconomic / stabilization activities in specific Layer 3 area
• Reporting on security situations and the threat escalations where and when necessary.
• Ensuring Rules and regulations in accordance with company security SOPs are in place for all contractor staff
• Assessing security conditions along the road in close contact with security department
• Working closely with Local authorities, local population as well as State security and private Security forces and contractors daily.
• Constantly evaluating the security threat level in the area of operations.

Qualifications/Experience required

• Fluent in English, Portuguese and Swahili as a spoken language, and notions in local languages.
• No Criminal record
• Basic computer skills, Experience on Windows System
• Have a basic high school diploma
• Have a military or Police background (minimum Senior NCO).
• Have experience working with Military and Police personnel.
• Valid driver’s License
• Valid passport
