Responsibilities:
- Run the client lab.
- Optimize the lab and equipment.
- Make sure operations are done according to al QHSSE standards.
- R&D of coking coals and cokes produced.
- Manage stock and consumable levels.
- Manage data and database.
- Train local staff to be competent.
- Maintain client relationship.
- Responsible for site P&L.
Qualifications:
- Extensive technical knowledge of coking coal and coke analysis.
- Experience with pilot scale (300kg) coking furnaces.
- Experience with small scale (7kg) coking furnaces.
- Understanding, knowledge and troubleshooting ability of the equipment (coking coal and coke analysis instrumentation, rheological, chemical and physical analysis).
- Management experience (head the team on site and the relationship with the client).
- Willing to relocate to Tete.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
