Production Shift Superintendent

Role:

  • Ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant;
  • Assist in developing operations management system;
  • Participate in the selection and recruitment of department staff;
  • Act as Control team leader during emergency situation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving the production targets in terms of productivity, efficiently, availability, and production;
  • Coordinate with upstream Field Operator to maintain the feed gas supply needed to maximize LNG production within the FLNG facilities’ capabilities;
  • Participate in monitoring of loading activities and managing activities that are necessary for the safe and efficient loading of the export vessels from FLNG;
  • Responsible for reviewing and commenting operating procedures to ensure their correct and safe implementation within shift operation team;
  • Produce shift reports detailing production levels and test results;
  • Ensure operation shift work are adequately manned by competent all times;
  • Coordinate with maintenance department for the execution of maintenance activities to minimize plant downtime and ensure availability and readiness of critical equipment;
  • Participate in scope of work definition, procedure development, reports and executions of production shutdown activities;
  • Promote a positive safety culture by active participation in development, implementation and enforcement of the safety procedures and ensure the applying of them within his operation shift team;
  • Act as the Approval Authorities of the PTW (Permit to Work) and be responsible for safe work condition at site according to PTW procedure;
  • Conduct emergency drills to test system and personnel responsiveness;
  • Provide operational training to shift individuals and small groups according to CAMS;
  • Perform additional tasks, as required by the nature, specificities, and operational requirements of the Company;

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Gas Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related scientific discipline from an accredited university;
  •  15 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience – at least 10 years of LNG operations experience with a minimum of 6 years in a Supervision or managerial position.
