We are looking for a target-driven Sales Person to acquire new clients, cross-sell banking products (loans, savings, insurance, digital wallets), and expand the bank’s footprint in Mozambique. The ideal candidate will convert leads into accounts while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent customer service.

Responsabilidades
  • Client Acquisition
  • Identify and prospect new retail and small business (SME) clients within assigned territory
  • Open new accounts (individual, joint, corporate) in line with monthly KPIs.
  • Product Sales
  • Sell secured and unsecured loans (personal, salary-backed, agricultural, SME credit)
  • Promote savings products
  • Cross-sell bank insurance products, debit cards, and digital banking services.
  • Relationship Management
  • Visit local market stalls and formal businesses.
  • Resolve basic client queries to reduce turnover
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure strict adherence to Bank of Mozambique (BM) regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) policies
  • Submit daily sales reports, lead tracking, and conversion data via CRM or Excel
Qualificações
  • 1–3 years of sales experience in banking, microfinance, telecom (mobile money), FMCG, or insurance in Mozambique is essential
  • Proven track record of meeting monthly sales targets.
Habilidades e Experiência
  • Basic MS Excel and Word (for reports)
  • Familiarity with KYC/AML procedures
  • Fluency in both Portuguese & English (Spoken and written).
