Our Client is a prestigious company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

FUNCTION

Reporting to the Cost Manager and the PCM, the Cost Administrator’s main responsibilities include: support cost control operations, specifically in the areas of invoice processing and invoice cost control verification; to ensure timely, accurate handling of invoices while performing strong cost validation and procedural compliance; invoice processing, including validation and coding; verification of invoice accuracy against contracts, purchase orders, and agreed rates; identification and escalation of discrepancies or non-compliant charges; cost control checks to ensure alignment with commercial terms; support with query resolution involving vendors and internal stakeholders; maintenance of audit trails and supporting documentation; contribution to reporting on invoice status, processing timelines, etc…; to ensure and impose strict confidentiality in performing the scope; to gather “lessons learnt” with respect to cost administration and invoice processing and deliver them to the Cost Manager; be accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior regarding HSSE rules & requirements, with regards to the company ethics and “code of conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within the said area of responsibility.

Requisitos

  • Qualifications as an Engineer or possessing a Bachelor degree in Business management or similar;
  • Minimum of at least 05 years of experience in major oil and gas project cost control;
  • Previous experience in accounts payable and cost control environments, is preferred;
  • Familiarity with accounting systems such as SAP;
  • Fluent English is required (both written and spoken);
  • Possessing the Portuguese language skills will be an advantage;
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capability;
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions within tight deadlines;
  • Effective communication skills for stakeholder and vendor engagement;
  • Team spirit with ability to work closely with various stakeholders, is required;
  • Living in the local area of the job will be an advantage.
