Compiles, assesses, research and tracks necessary data related to company finances, operating costs and product sales, used to improve sales and company profit. Provides comprehensive analysis support by analyzing necessary data for pricing models, contract negotiations, projects, and process enhancements.

Responsabilidades
  • Analyze and identify improvement initiatives and solutions for businesses and new projects within Mozambique, Eswatini, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
  • Identify and implement yield improvements initiatives to maximize existing business opportunities
  • Managing and providing support for projects to improve revenue and volume performance as well as commercial sales campaigns
  • Responsible for the creation of pricing models and the integrity of pricing data to allow informed pricing decisions to be taken by the business
  • Conduct benchmarking of competitor pricing and value proposition
  • Managing the KPI reporting and dashboards for the commercial and management teams
  • Acting as the main point of contact within the commercial team for any ongoing and ad hoc reporting, providing insight and strategic evaluations of data to the logistics commercial and operational teams
  • Preparation of periodic reporting such as Commercial, Ouarterly Forecast and Board Presentation Packs with additional Ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Interprets information and data to reach conclusions and present insights and findings on the underlying principles, reasons or facts
  • Undertake research and market analysis including economic, competitor, customer and general industry to support new product development, target of new customers and to provide Management Team with an understanding of market developments
  • Supporting and leading the contract management process for existing customers
  • Responsible for designing and maintaining key account
  • Tracking commercial terms in contracts to ensure compliance to agree terms with Customers and ensure commercial incentives such as rebates are tracked and reconciled
  • Own and execute the quote St contract process with relevant stakeholders
  • Acquisition of new SME customers for logistics services including freight, warehousing, customs brokerage etc.
  • Liaising with internal departments, DP World global offices and external logistics partners for opportunity development
  • Ensures CRM tools are updated on time with excellent quality
  • Assist in system updates, firefighting, manage cross functional collaboration
  • Ensures opportunities are updated on time and are of excellent quality
  • Adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
  • Ensure that the highest levels of safety are applied in all activities
Qualificações
  • +3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Preferably experience in the logistics industry
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced use of MS Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in financial report preparation
  • Ability to interpret operational information
  • Professional, positive and proactive attitude
  • Strong Customer service focus (internal & external)
  • Effective business communication skills and fluency in written & spoken English
  • Decisive thinker with the ability analyze and understand information using insights to effectively make informed decisions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively, consultatively, and inclusively with a range of people
