Job Details:
- Position: Logistic Superintendent / Specialist
- Resource Type: Local
- Location: Pemba, Mozambique
- Duration: Project duration of 810 working days
- Start Date: July 20, 2026
Role Mission:Assures carrying out necessary operations in respect of deadlines, customs clearance, transport, and delivery of equipment and materials.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Follow up import, export, transit, dispatch, and transport customs papers.
- Streamline customs clearance and shipping processes to optimize supply chain operations and minimize delays.
- Manage and coordinate shippers and/or dispatchers.
- Cooperate in the management of transport insurance contracts with companies.
- Manage the Project Information System relating to materials handling, routinely updating relative data.
- Plan transport with the Expediting & Inspection Officer.
- Ensure adherence to contractual services by suppliers and service providers, maintaining high service delivery standards.
- Use a dedicated computerized program for these activities.
