Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to join its Mozambique team. The successful candidate will report to the Country Lead Planning and will be responsible for supply planning activities, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, material availability, and efficient production planning.

CCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorized bottler in the world by revenue and the largest in Africa, operating in 14 countries and serving more than 800,000 customers across the continent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt operational sales forecasts based on updated sales information.
  • Assess and quantify the impact of promotional and marketing activities on production plans.
  • Integrate marketing and sales insights into demand forecasts.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging to meet production requirements.
  • Optimize procurement costs while maintaining adequate inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate 18-month rolling forecast aligned with business strategy.
  • Review and maintain a 13-week operational forecast to support production planning and MRP.
  • Validate historical sales data and incorporate new product launches and promotions into forecasts.
  • Produce high-quality forecasting analytics using available planning systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Analyze distribution data to improve planning and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure master data within ERP and APS systems remains accurate and up to date.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Logistics
    • Operations Management
    • Business Administration
    • Economics
    • Statistics
    • Or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG Demand Planning or Supply Planning.
  • Experience using ERP systems, particularly MRP.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing Planning.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and Distribution processes.

  • Demand forecasting and planning.
