Job Summary
- The Secured Loan Manager is responsible for defining, developing and managing the Bank’s Secured Lending portfolio, including Mortgages (Home Loans, Equity Release and future secured lending solutions) and Leasing products (Vehicle Asset Finance, Commercial Asset Finance and related financing solutions).
- The role is accountable for driving sustainable portfolio growth, profitability, market competitiveness and customer acquisition while ensuring sound credit quality, regulatory compliance and adherence to the Bank’s risk appetite.
- Reporting to the Head of Products, the incumbent will lead a dedicated team and work closely with Risk, Credit, Operations, Finance, Digital, Legal, Marketing and Distribution teams to deliver innovative customer value propositions, optimize product performance and support the Bank’s strategic objectives.
- The role requires a strong balance between commercial growth, portfolio management, risk oversight, product innovation and people leadership.
Job Description
- Develop and execute the Secured Lending strategy covering Mortgages, Home Loans, Equity Release, Leasing (VAF and CAF) and future secured lending solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end product life cycle, including product design, enhancement, pricing, commercialization and retirement
- Drive portfolio growth, revenue generation, profitability and market share expansion across all secured lending products
- Monitor and manage portfolio performance, business KPIs, credit quality, delinquency trends and asset performance
- Lead product innovation initiatives, customer value propositions and digital transformation projects
- Manage governance, regulatory, compliance and product approval requirements
- Build strong partnerships with Sales, Distribution, Risk, Finance, Operations and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Lead, coach and develop the Secured Lending team to ensure high performance and succession readiness
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
