BASE MANAGER

Pemba, Mozambique

Join Servtec SBM and contribute to the efficient and safe management of our operational base in Pemba.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage warehouse and operational base operations.
  • Supervise warehouse, logistics and inventory activities.
  • Ensure accurate stock control (>99% inventory accuracy).
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, order preparation and dispatch.
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
  • Lead and motivate warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Maintain compliance with HSE, food safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify improvements.
  • Ensure operational readiness to support vessels and offshore projects when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management.
  • Previous experience in Shipchandling, Oil & Gas or Marine Supply is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing multicultural teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.
  • Excellent leadership, planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
