Logistics Officer – Maputo
Duties
- Co-ordinate movement of packages from Airport or KM4 to warehouse
- Check all goods/packages accounted for
- Co-ordinate with customs brokers on documentation requirements
- Ensure all documentation in check and fully signed to ensure Bank Guarantee management & payment protocols are maintained
- Co-ordinate delivery on board vessels calling Maputo port & ensure full delivery process followed and communicated accurately
- Co-ordinate any other movement of internal company cargo as instructed
- Detailed tracking and communication of movements
- Any other company requirements
Requirements in the candidate
- Must speak English
- Must have attention to detail
- Must be able to maintain good documentation filing, tracking etc.
- Preferred understanding of import/export requirements (especially “consumo a bordo”)
