Our client in Maputo is looking for a Factory Manager – Soy Processing to join their team within the travel and Production Sector.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production output and ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Oversee all stages of soybean processing
  • Ensure that processing operations comply with established technical and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality-control procedures
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor raw material inventories
  • Prepare monthly and annual operational reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
    • Chemical Engineering.
    • Industrial Engineering.
    • Mechanical Engineering.
    • Food Science.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing or Agro-processing.
  • Previous experience in a soy-processing plant, edible-oil factory, feed-processing facility, or agricultural processing plant is highly desirable.
