Diamond Drillers (DD) & Reverse Circulation (RC) Drillers

We are currently building a talent pool of highly skilled Drill Rig Operators for upcoming major mineral exploration projects. We are specifically seeking experienced professionals with a strong background in deep-hole diamond drilling and RC drilling who can achieve production targets without compromising on safety or core quality.

• – Rig Operation: Safely and efficiently operate Diamond Core (DD) or Reverse Circulation (RC) rigs, specifically handling deep-hole drilling operations at depths of 800 meters and above;
• – System Mastery: Execute drilling using PQ, HQ, and NQ drilling systems, handling wireline systems, inner tubes, core barrels, and overshots;
• – Quality Control: Maintain high core recovery and quality while closely monitoring drilling parameters (RPM, weight on bit, water pressure, torque) and controlling hole deviation;
• – Troubleshooting: Identify and swiftly respond to difficult ground conditions (fractured zones, water loss, unstable ground) to minimize operational downtime;
• – Maintenance & HSE: Conduct daily rig inspections, perform routine rod pulling and casing installations, report equipment defects immediately, and strictly adhere to all site HSE and Standard Operating Procedures;

• – Experience: Minimum 5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Drill Rig Operator in mineral exploration;
• – Demonstrated and proven experience drilling deep holes exceeding 800 meters (experience with 800–1,500+ meters and hydraulic diamond drilling rigs is highly preferred);
• – Educational / Trade Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent;
• – Vocational, Technical, or Trade Certificate in Drilling Operations, Mineral Exploration, or Heavy Equipment Operation;
• – Certifications: Valid First Aid and CPR certification;
• – Relevant Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) certifications (e.g., OSHA, IOSH, or local equivalents);
• – Valid heavy rigid vehicle or commercial driver’s license (preferred);
• – Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills in tough geological conditions, and the ability to work long shift rotations effectively alongside a multidisciplinary team;
