The Key Purpose of this role is to develop Quality Assurance (QA) capabilities through a structured 18 to 24-month trainee programme. The programme aligns trainees with company standards and prepares them to manage quality systems, ensure sustainability, and mitigate product and packaging risks within a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Safety

• Participate in safety and quality meetings across departments.

• Report Safety Improvement Opportunities (SIOs) and Risk Notification Cards (RNCs).

• Present safety and quality topics as required.

• Conduct risk assessments and compliance evaluations using checklists and CCP verifications.

• Assess equipment and process compliance with safety standards.

• Apply the Safety Value Checklist in daily activities and territorial safety ownership.

• Identify hazards and follow up on corrective actions.

Quality

• Support quality governance systems through laboratory rotations.

• Conduct analytical, microbiological, and packaging quality tests.

• Perform membrane filtration, SO₂, TPO, and stability testing.

• Analyse laboratory results from beer, fermentation, and water samples.

• Use MES and Codex systems to identify deviations and support investigations.

• Update quality documentation, scorecards, and checklists.

• Assist with audit preparation and maintenance of audit records.

• Apply structured problem-solving tools to resolve quality and production issues.

Cost Management

• Assist in identifying risks and improvement opportunities in laboratory, brewing, utilities, and packaging processes.

• Support the development of sustainable solutions that reduce product and packaging risks.

• Collaborate with senior team members on continuous improvement initiatives.

Volume and Operational Support

• Liaise with various brewery functional areas.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings.

• Support hygiene walks and maintenance verification activities.

• Contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency and product quality.

People and Teamwork

• Collaborate with quality teams during laboratory rotations.

• Support scheduled laboratory activities and governance alignment.

• Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and quality culture across departments.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Tech or BSc degree in a relevant field of study.

• Quality control-related experience preferred.

• Two years’ experience in an FMCG quality control environment would be advantageous.

• Completion of the IST Programme.

• Consumer complaints management.

• PTS compliance.

• Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ) performance.
