EXECUTIVE DRIVER – COUNTRY DIRECTOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide safe and professional transportation to the Country Director and authorized passengers;
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, comfortable, fuelled, and ready before departure;
  • Maintain excellent punctuality and reliability;
  • Drive smoothly and responsibly, respecting road safety requirements;
  • Follow authorized destinations and reasonable route instructions;
  • Use Google Maps, Waze, or other navigation systems when required;
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding conversations, meetings, destinations, and other information encountered during work;
  • Monitor the condition of the vehicle and report maintenance issues or damage immediately;
  • Coordinate authorized vehicle cleaning, servicing, and maintenance;
  • Provide transportation for official meetings, airport transfers, events, business trips, and other authorized activities;
  • Maintain professional, respectful, and discreet conduct at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Mozambican driver’s license;
  • Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience;
  • Previous experience as an executive, corporate, diplomatic, NGO, or senior management driver will be an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of Maputo and surrounding areas;
  • Good knowledge of vehicle care and basic maintenance;
  • Ability to use Google Maps, Waze, or similar navigation applications;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and confidentiality;
  • Professional appearance and good personal hygiene;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Portuguese proficiency required;
  • Basic/intermediate English will be an advantage.
