Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all shipping and logistics operations, including coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and ensure efficient use of warehouse space.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and performance of shipping and logistics staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve shipping and logistics processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and present reports on shipping and logistics operations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of shipping and logistics processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in relevant software and systems, such as inventory management and tracking software.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
