Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections, equipment assessments and technical diagnostics on heavy machinery and related equipment.
- Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Attend customer breakdowns and provide timely technical assistance to minimize equipment downtime.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Equipment, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant field service or heavy equipment maintenance experience, preferably within mining, construction, agriculture, industrial or related environments.
- Demonstrated experience working on heavy mobile equipment, earthmoving machinery, mining equipment or similar assets.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
