CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Our client, an oilfield services company, is looking to onboard contractors for its Wireline operations in Pemba, Mozambique.
We are looking for experienced Wireline Operators to join the team.
THE ROLE
Support Wireline field operations as an experienced operator, from equipment preparation and rig-up to operation, rig-down, inspection and routine maintenance, in line with HSE, service quality and operational discipline standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support equipment preparation, rig-up, pressure testing, operation, rig-down, inspection and routine maintenance.

Understand and follow work instructions, risk assessments and safety procedures.

Work in line with HSE, service quality and operational discipline standards.

Work a regular schedule from Monday to Friday in Pemba, and take part in offshore missions when required.

Complete the applicable Operator technical training and competency-development programme.

Communicate clearly and work effectively as part of the team.
PROFILE
1. Education
– High school certificate or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related technical discipline.
2. Experience
– Previous field experience in Wireline, Well Intervention, Drilling or another oilfield service environment is preferred.
3. Technical Skills

Ability to support equipment preparation, rig-up, pressure testing, operation, rig-down, inspection and routine maintenance.

Ability to understand and follow work instructions, risk assessments and safety procedures.
4. Languages
-
Portuguese;
-
English.
5. Personal Qualities
-
Strong commitment to HSE, service quality and operational discipline.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
JOB CONDITIONS
-
Regular work schedule, Monday to Friday, based in Pemba, Mozambique.

Possible offshore missions at remote locations, on rotational schedules and extended shifts.

Physically fit and medically eligible for field and offshore duties.

Willingness to complete the applicable Operator technical training and competency-development programme.
