The Great Carlcare Services SU Lda is recruiting (1) Account Manager – Device Finance for Maputo.

Objective of the position:

The Account Manager – Device Finance is responsible for managing and growing relationships with financial partners, distributors, and corporate clients involved in device financing programs. The role focuses on driving device sales through installment plans, credit programs, and partnerships that enhance customer affordability while ensuring profitability and risk management for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with financial institutions, distributors, and retail partners involved in device financing;
  • Negotiate and implement financing agreements to support handset and device sales;
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals for device financing and customer acquisition;
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Risk) to design attractive financing products and campaigns;
  • Track and analyze performance of financing programs, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements;
  • Support product launches by developing financing offers that increase uptake and retention;
  • Provide training and support to sales teams and partners on financing processes and systems;
  • Monitor repayment performance and coordinate with finance teams to minimize bad debt and credit risk;
  • Prepare periodic reports on partner performance, financing penetration, and revenue contributions;
  • Identify opportunities to expand financing programs into new markets or customer segments.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field;
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management, financial services, or telecom sales;
  • Strong understanding of consumer financing, credit management, and telecommunications distribution channels;
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills;
  • Data-driven with ability to analyze reports and market trends;
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems;
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
