Duties
- Based on business needs, to improve the company’s administrative and human resource management structure, and develop administrative and HR management rules and regulations for management, optimizing relevant SOPs for company operations
- Conduct daily administrative and human resource management, implement various management regulations, and ensure that the company’s overall operations are orderly and standardized, including but not limited to: recruitment and personnel management, payroll management, legal affairs, company licenses, and office environment
- Participate in the design of job positions, management processes, performance evaluations, and assessments together with various business departments, and rationally implement the performance management system based on the company’s business objectives, implementation, and resource availability
- Participate in the design of the company’s training system for various departmental positions, implement training processes, and improve the operational level of all employees for different functions and needs through capacity building, ensuring that training and capacity building translate into company performance
- Other work that is related to admin and HR management
Requisites
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- Language Mastery: Exceptional fluency in Portuguese and English. Must be capable of drafting complex management reports, legal documents, and SOPs in both languages, and conducting high-level business discussions with international investors
- Regulatory Expertise: Profound knowledge of Mozambican Labor Law, tax regulations, and government compliance requirements for international commercial enterprises
- Managerial Track Record: At least 3-5 years of proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a company of 30+ employees. Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or structured logistics sectors is a significant advantage
- System Building: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing HR & Admin systems (KPIs, performance appraisal models, training frameworks) from the ground up, rather than just maintaining existing ones
- Competencies & Management Style:
- Process-Oriented Architect: A strong believer in SOPs and systematic management. You should be someone who values “management by rules” over “management by intuition.”
- Analytical & Strategic: Ability to align HR strategies (recruitment, training, performance) with the company’s commercial objectives to ensure HR activities drive actual business results
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel/PPT) and modern HRIS/Payroll software

- Unyielding Integrity: Possess high professional ethics, loyalty, and the ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion
- Execution & Discipline: Must lead by example in strictly adhering to company regulations and procedures. We seek a manager who enforces standards fairly and consistently
