Duties & Responsibilities

• Administration of maintenance contracts for all technical equipment • Update auction lists • Assist with the sale and documentation of vehicles and equipment • Collating offers to purchase • Obtain payments • Responsible for registration and deregistration of vehicles • Asset transfers, CAP and document processing • Processing invoices for payment • Update fleet list for the entire BU • Collating unit failure data • Responsible for monthly financial reconciliations • Responsible for month end technical flash consolidation • Maintain and update admin and technical files • Vehicle licenses, fines and penalties – monitor and report as well as submit reminders to contracts • Assist in compiling contract information’s for technical projects as and when required

  • Qualified accountant with a degree in Accounting and Auditing
  • Knowledge of IFRS and application of accounting standards a must have
  • Proactive, confident, assertive
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within required timelines
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Computer literate and advanced knowledge of excel
  • Knowledge of SAGE X3 ERP system an added advantage
  • Knowledge of English and Portuguese language a must
  • Manage all depot accounting processing to trial balance level
  • Montly reporting
  • Manage cash flow requirements for the depot
  • Liase with internal and external auditors
  • Liasise with internal and external auditors
  • Liaise with clients and collect outstanding debts
  • Ensure that suppliers are paid in line with standard payment terms
  • Any other accounting fuctions that might arise from time to times

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree • 2-3 Years experience in the administration field • General transport background highly advantageous • Experience or exposure to technical aspects in the Transport Environment would be an advantage • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Excellent communication skills • Excellent problem solving abilities • Able to work under pressure • Deadline orientated • Reliable and dependable • Must be proactive and able to use own initiative • Must have own transport
