Our client in Maputo is looking an Administrative Manager to join their team within the Tobacco Sector.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative activities, including office maintenance, security, and document control.
- Ensure all administrative functions adhere to stringent industry regulations, including EHS compliance, especially if involved in leaf processing.
- Coordinate logistics related to tobacco materials or administrative support.
- Develop and monitor administrative budgets, manage purchasing, and ensure cost-efficient procurement of services/supplies.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate administrative staff, setting performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare management reports, and assist with audit preparations.
Requirements
- 5+ years in office administration, with at least 3 years in management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with company-specific IT/ERP systems.
- Ability to prepare, review, and submit official documents to relevant government departments and authorities (including customs, tax offices, trademark registries, and similar bodies).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
