Our client in Afungi is looking for Airport Infrastructure Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Air Transport Sector.
Responsibilities
- Pavement Management: Oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair of airport pavements, including runways, taxiways, and aprons, to ensure compliance with IACM/ICAO standards.
- Civil Works Oversight: maintenance, and rehabilitation of civil infrastructure, such as drainage systems, lighting, and signage.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
- Condition Assessments: Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of pavement and infrastructure conditions using tools like Pavement Condition Index (PCI) surveys.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train maintenance staff, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pavement management, civil engineering, or airport infrastructure maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in civil works, including drainage systems, grading, and structural repairs.
- Knowledge of IACM/ICAO standards for airport pavement and infrastructure.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
