BLENDER OPERATOR

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Our client, active in the oil and gas sector, is looking for a Blender Operator to join its offshore operations team. The role supports gravel-pack pumping and mixing operations on offshore rigs and includes equipment preparation, mobilization and demobilization between the base and the rigs.
THE ROLE
Operate and monitor blender equipment during gravel-pack pumping and mixing operations, ensuring compliance with the specified rate and density.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and monitor blender equipment during gravel-pack pumping and mixing operations, ensuring compliance with the specified rate and density.

Execute preventive inspections of engines, instrumentation, lifting gear and safety devices to maintain equipment reliability.

Perform commissioning, diagnostics and functional verification of equipment before deployment and operation.

Diagnose equipment faults and perform maintenance and repairs on the manifold, valves, gate components, engines, densitometers and associated safety systems.

Coordinate the spare and repair parts inventory while supporting equipment preparation, mobilization and demobilization between the base and the offshore rig.

Conduct rig-up and rig-down activities for high-pressure lines and hoses in accordance with approved operational and safety procedures.
PROFILE
Experience
-
Hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of offshore well-service equipment (level to be confirmed with the client).
Technical Skills
-
Operation and monitoring of blender equipment (rate and density control).

Fault diagnosis, maintenance and repair of manifolds, valves, gate components, engines, densitometers and safety systems.

Preventive inspections, commissioning and functional verification.

Rig-up and rig-down of high-pressure lines and hoses.

Spare and repair parts inventory coordination.
Certifications

Offshore safety and training requirements to be confirmed with the client.
Languages
-
Portuguese.

English.
JOB CONDITIONS
-
Offshore, rig-based position with mobilization between the base and the rigs. Rotation, contract terms and accommodation to be confirmed.
