The Key Purpose of this role is to ensure alignment to overall business strategy, deliver against Customer Service, Volume, Market Share and Profitability imperatives in an ethical and responsible manner

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures across all site and regional operations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Brewery Operations focusing on Stock Management.

  • Plan, oversee, and optimize supply chain and warehouse operations by establishing clear processes and routines.

  • Monitor and analyse productivity levels across T1 and T2 distribution and warehousing.

  • Share best practices and cascade KPIs to ensure uniformity in processes, making necessary adjustments based on performance data.

  • Inventory Compliance and Control

  • Ensure adherence to inventory policies and control processes to minimize losses.

  • Manage the SCOH package effectively by implementing robust tracking and reporting mechanisms.

  • Act as a liaison between the country operations and commercial, supply functions to align on customer service strategies.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to enhance service delivery within each sales region.

  • Develop and maintain a detailed budget plan for key financial packages, including CAPEX, VILC/ZBB, and SCO.

  • Implement cost control measures and regularly review financial performance against budget to identify areas for improvement.

  • Drive the execution of Champion’s and Value Added (VA) initiatives by establishing clear objectives and performance metrics.

  • Support teams in adopting these initiatives through training and resource allocation.

  • Implement DPO/VPO/LCP means and standards across operations to ensure compliance and performance excellence.

  • Lead innovation and benchmarking efforts to identify process improvement opportunities that enhance sustainable DPO/VPO/LCP KPIs.

  • Strategic Cost Reduction and Customer Service Improvement

  • Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at reducing operating costs while simultaneously improving customer service levels throughout T1/T2 warehouses.

  • Utilize data analytics to assess operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, adjusting as necessary to meet targets.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability by adhering to the AB InBev 10 Principles, ensuring that all team members understand and embody these values.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, promoting professional development and growth.

  • Encourage open communication and actively seek input from team members to enhance engagement and morale.

  • Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes of operational issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Encourage a proactive approach to problem-solving within teams, empowering employees to take ownership of challenges and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to leverage diverse perspectives and expertise in addressing complex operational challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or more in Logistics or any other related field

  • 5+ years in FMCG, distribution or supply chain planning operating at a managerial level

  • Knowledge of all relevant legislative requirements

  • Knowledge of customer service principles

  • Credibility within the business

  • Familiar with local market environments
