To key purpose facilitate continuous sustainable improvement in product quality throughout the value chain by optimising brewing technology and ensuring compulsory adherence to standards. Through VPO practices, this role is to ensure that there is a superior performance relating to Governance against standards, Trending and aiding in foresight of the department, and Innovation aspects, all executed through correct VPO practises.
Key roles and Responibilties:

Ensuring that the brewery complies with all global technical governance requirements.

Control and ensure implementation of local and franchise brewing manual content

Regulate concession and permit systems

Enforce adherence to standards governed through the PTS (Process & Product Technical Specifications)

Audit of plants against standard audit template.

Identify non-compliance and opportunities.
-
Give specific recommendations to the brewing manager and plant manager regarding action required.

Feedback to Zone Brewing Manager and highlight areas of concern.

Co-ordinate process changes

Co-ordinate quality improvements
-
Co-ordinate Global Brands brewing
-
Co-ordinate project implementation in the Brewing department

Identification of out of control situations or trends from quality results and process monitoring.

Work with Brewing manager to resolve the problems using VPO tools and practices
-
Ensure that appropriate process monitoring and control systems are in place.

VPO driven MCRS must allow for adequate identification of brewing concerns.

Monitor all aspects of raw materials.

Ensure deep understanding of VPO standards
Minimum Requirements:
-
BSc Degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

Completed Traineeship
-
IBD Papers 1,2&3 completed and passed
-
Completed brewing traineeship
-
At least 2 years production experience, of which 1 years’ operating at a
-
management level within Brewing.

Demonstrated experience in driving commercial decisions in a brewery
-
(financial, operational, people) and brewing technical expertise
-
A good performance track record indicating a disciplined work ethic with passion
-
at maintaining quality
