CBE Southern Africa intends to recruit CCTV Operators to monitor and operate video surveillance systems (CCTV), ensuring the safety of people, facilities, and assets through continuous observation, identification of incidents, and immediate reporting of abnormal situations, in compliance with security and confidentiality procedures.
Funções
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems on a continuous basis
- Observe, detect, and report any suspicious or unusual activities
- Ensure all CCTV equipment is operating correctly and report faults immediately
- Record incidents accurately and maintain proper incident logs and reports
- Escalate security incidents to the Security Supervisor or relevant authorities
- Assist with investigations by reviewing and retrieving CCTV footage when required
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with security and privacy procedures
- Support access control and monitoring of restricted areas when required
Requisitos
- Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security-related role (advantage)
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems, cameras, and monitoring software
- Ability to observe, analyses, and report incidents accurately
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and remain alert for long periods
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email)
