Cluster coordinator

Our Client is a multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

FUNCTION

Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement Supervisor and Manager, the Cluster Coordinator leads the Community Relations team, coordinating CLOs and facilitators to build and maintain relationships between the project, communities, and local government, implementing the local stakeholder engagement plan, analyzing community needs, concerns, and potential project impacts, mapping stakeholders, supporting risk assessment and strategic planning, ensuring timely communication of project information, managing consultations and the grievance mechanism, recording and analyzing community feedback, reporting on team performance, incidents, and emerging issues, engaging respectfully with all community groups including vulnerable populations, providing insights on local hiring and training needs, and helping mitigate associated risks while following company policies and international standards.

Requisitos

• Degree in a relevant area for the position;
• Experience working within the industry or comparable projects in social/ community related position;
• Experience working with community development programmes or related work, preferably in the local areas;
• Experience working with civil society organizations, the most relevant being that relate to worker rights, land claims, resettlement, participatory decision making and health, society, environmental groups;
• Knowledge of local communities;
• Knowledge of the industry, company & the project;
• Knowledge of regulatory;
• Local & Foreign languages skills;
• Ability to understand cultural values;
• Interpersonal & problem – solving skills;
• Verbal communication, written communication & reporting skills;
• Information sharing skills;
• Community engagement skills.
