We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager with Business Development responsibilities to base in Mozambique and lead our commercial strategies, drive revenue growth, and strengthen client relationships. This pivotal role combines sales leadership, strategic business development, and operational oversight to achieve key organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, a strong track record in expanding market presence, and the ability to foster high-impact strategic partnerships.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor market and competitor trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies in alignment with company goals and targeted sectors.
- Create and manage pipelines of potential clients, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship-building.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Be the primary local Mozambique point of contact for clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.
- Lead customer engagement activities and initiatives, ensuring a high level of service quality and responsiveness.
- Contribute to commercial operations and targets, including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and proposal cost control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract compliance and resolve any issues.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, providing insights into new potential revenue streams, client retention, and market expansion efforts.
- Intricately embedded in the Mozambique Team, demonstrating a will to work together.
- Commitment to the role with proven customer engagement, opportunities, and revenues. Active involvement in the sales process, bringing in new opportunities.
- Honesty and integrity towards clients, partners, and stakeholders within RA.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
- Active involvement in the sales process, bringing in new opportunities.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
