Job Description
• Lead the design and implementation of community engagement strategies across the different districts in the province • Coordinate community-level outreach, awareness-raising, and training activities focused on girls’ rights, empowerment, and sexual and reproductive health. • Facilitate collaboration with youth leaders, teachers, caregivers, community-based organizations, and local authorities. • Support the development of participatory tools and methods to enhance community involvement. • Monitor progress and document lessons learned from community engagement efforts. • Ensure strong linkages between community-level inputs and overall program planning and reporting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Community Development, Education, Social Work, Gender, or related field. • At least 7 years of professional experience, including 5 years in community engagement, mobilization, or youth programming. • Proven experience working in rural and peri-urban contexts with diverse community stakeholders. • Strong facilitation and communication skills. • Knowledge of participatory methodologies and behavior change strategies. • Fluency in Portuguese; knowledge of local languages spoken in Cabo Delgado or Sofala is a strong advantage.
