Heading Moçambique
Duties
- Develop and maintain Community Health, Safety & Security Plans and PIIM policies, tools and awareness campaigns
- Define indicators, conduct studies and report on program effectiveness
- Coordinate with affected communities, GoM, lenders and civil society to roll out socio-economic management activities
- Work closely with Community Liaison, Local Economic Development, Community Investment and other internal teams to ensure integrated delivery
- Present project initiatives in external forums and support SSHE/lender reporting requirements
Requisites
- 8–10 years in complex, multicultural environments; proven track record in socio-economic or community-risk management
- Degree/specialization in Environmental or Social Sciences, Economics, or related field
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and conflict-resolution abilities
- Excellent monitoring, evaluation and report-writing skills
- Fluent in English & Portuguese (written and verbal)
- Familiarity with anti-corruption/bribery legislation, government and lender reporting
