PROJECT CONTEXT
The Company Site Representative (CSR) will oversee the reporting staff assigned to and onboard the vessel and will report directly to the EPCI Installation Manager.
During the preparation and installation phases of the Mozambique LNG project, the Company Site Representative will assist the EPCI Installation Manager with the technical appraisal and supervision of the pipelay campaign operations.
The scope of work will particularly focus on the installation of 18 x 10” production flowlines and associated PLETs at all ends, using Reel-lay installation on the TFMC Deep Energy vessel, working under the offshore EPCI Contractor (MTV).
During the two dedicated campaigns in 2026 and 2027, the CSR will represent TotalEnergies onboard the vessel, ensuring that all installation activities are completed in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the approved documentation and project-specific HIRAs.
The CSR will ensure that any changes are reviewed in detail, appropriately risk-assessed, involving the in-country and Paris teams when required, and captured through the MOC (Management of Change) process, including the necessary risk assessments.
The CSR will act as RSES-D within the vessel environment, reporting to the RSES in the DW field.
GOALS AND DELIVERABLES
- Review the installation design, plans, procedures and documentation prepared by the Contractor and ensure that they comply with Project Specifications and the installation scope;
- Complete all training required by the Company to support the project team as a CSR;
- Act as the primary Client Point of Contact onboard for MTV;
- Lead the Company Supervision Team onboard and evaluate the appropriate manning level required to safely supervise the work;
- Perform oversight and monitor the progress of the Contractor’s Completion Process;
- Report to the Installation Manager as appropriate and effectively share daily, weekly and milestone progress and status;
- Participate in installation risk assessments and follow up on mitigation measures in coordination with the Contractor’s risk management team;
- Ensure that the Contractor’s HSE plan for the vessel is properly bridged with the Company’s HSE plan;
- Participate in and lead regular Safety Walks and Hazard Hunts onboard the installation vessel;
- Provide verified information to the reporting system, allowing full tracking of installation events;
- Help mitigate potential Change Orders;
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Operations Team located on the vessels;
- Monitor and witness offshore installation activities performed by the vessel and ensure that installation activities comply with Company requirements;
- Report to the Installation Manager all technical issues requiring specific attention during documentation reviews or installation and mobilisation progress meetings, including Management of Change (MOC) matters;
- Liaise with dedicated Project Team specialists, such as Materials & Welding, Corrosion & Coating, and other relevant specialists;
- Coordinate with Afungi Marine/Logistics, TotalEnergies HQ specialists (DEV/TEC), or third parties when required;
- Contribute to the project’s Lessons Learned;
- Contribute to the Project Close-out Report.
