Project Coordinator (Consultant) Full-Time NEW
International Growth Centre (IGC) – Mozambique
The International Growth Centre (IGC) Mozambique is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the implementation of a municipal taxation research project in Maputo. The position is full-time for an initial period of four (4) months, full-time with the possibility of extension, subject to performance and project needs.
The Project Coordinator will play a central role in the day-to-day coordination of field activities, including the ongoing baseline survey and the preparation and implementation of the midline survey planned for 2026. This role requires close coordination with field supervisors, enumerators, data controllers, the Municipality of Maputo, and the project’s implementing partners.
In addition to field coordination, the Project Coordinator will act as the primary liaison between IGC, the Municipality, and the implementing partner, ensuring smooth communication, adherence to timelines, and compliance with agreed protocols. The role also includes responsibilities related to data quality assurance, data cleaning, and research assistance, contributing directly to the analytical components of the project.
This position is ideal for a highly organised, proactive individual with experience in survey-based research, fieldwork management, and stakeholder engagement, particularly in public finance, urban development, or governance-related projects.
