Our client in Maputo is looking for a Driver to join their team for a job vacancy within the Agricultural (Tabacco) Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Transport employees, clients, and goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain the company vehicle (cleanliness, regular inspections, fueling) and report any mechanical issues or damages promptly.
- Plan optimal routes to minimize travel time and ensure on-time arrivals, considering traffic and road conditions.
- Assist with loading and unloading products or materials as needed.
- Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Keep accurate records of travel distances, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
- Valid Mozambican driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 3+ years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or delivery role.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability; ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese and basic English or Chinese.
