The Key Purpose of this role is to receive and replenish the correct spare parts in the plant, ensure quality verification, and place them on the appropriate shelf.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive the correct products/spare parts in the plant;
- Ensure quality verification and proper shelf placement;
- Ensure stock counting according to the cycle count calendar, avoiding variances;
- Inform the Store Controller about the receipt of incorrect spare parts;
- Issue a Non-Conformance Report when suppliers deliver incorrect spare parts;
- Prevent unexpected stock shortages;
- Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness, and risk-free standards;
- Contribute to self-development and team development;
- Adhere to VPO procedures and practices;
- Promote teamwork;
- Support problem-solving activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Preferably have a qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- Be proficient in computer applications (user level);
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage;
- Have an acceptable level of English proficiency;
- Be efficient, dynamic, and responsible.
