The Key purpose of this role is to lead the implementation of the Safety and Environment strategy in line with VPO standards, ensuring zero injuries and zero environmental incidents through awareness, monitoring, reporting, incident investigation, and closure of identified non-conformities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure facilitation of VPO implementation within the Safety and Environment Pillar

Ensure the existence and compliance with the annual Safety and Environment training plan

Support risk assessments and monitor action plans

Conduct regular Safety and Environment audits
-
Ensure existence of SOPs and SWIs and conduct OWD verifications
-
Develop employee capability through the SKAP process
-
Ensure reporting and closure of Safety and Environment SIOs
-
Report and investigate incidents in Credit 360
-
Enforce the AB InBev 6 Golden Rules (SIF)

Ensure escalation of incidents to Africa Zone
-
Promote Safety Pyramid awareness

Apply problem-solving and decision-making principles
-
Provide technical support to departments
-
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
-
Promote teamwork and facilitate problem resolution
Minimum Requirements:
-
Higher education degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent
-
Computer literacy at user level
-
Acceptable English proficiency
-
Efficient, dynamic, and responsible
