Our client in Palma is looking for Equipment Maintenance Specialist join their team for a job vacancy within the Mining Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and heavy equipment.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify faults, wear, and potential failures.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic issues using appropriate tools and systems.
- Monitor equipment condition and performance, recommending maintenance actions when necessary.
- Ensure proper use of equipment to reduce operational abuse and extend lifespan.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.
Requirements:
- Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Mechanics, or Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a similar role.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and relevant diagnostic or maintenance software).
