Job Summary
Deliver exceptional client service by enhancing the Exchange Control (Excon) monitoring process. Ensure a robust regulatory environment and high standards of oversight by driving automation and mitigating risks. Manage daily Exchange Control administration in line with Mozambican Central Bank regulations and act as the in-country liaison with its Licensing and Exchange Control Department (DLC). Provide Exchange Control consultation services to internal and external stakeholders while fostering efficiencies, reducing costs, and minimising manual processes. Lead, coordinate, and oversee the Exchange Control team, ensuring effective execution of daily tasks.
Job Description
- Deliver a superior client experience through excellent service by improving of the monitoring Excon process
- Guarantee a Regulatory risk environment and a high standard of regulatory oversite
- Ensure stable regulatory environment by driving automation through improved regulatory oversite and risk mitigation
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of Exchange Control in conjunction with the Mozambican Central Bank regulations
- Support various Stakeholder units within Absa Bank Mozambique as well as external clients by providing an Exchange Control Service offering by way of consultation
- In Country liaison with the Licensing and Exchange Control Department of the Mozambican Central Bank (Departamento de Licenciamento Cambial – DLC)
- Reduce costs and pro-actively seek opportunities by creating efficiencies and automation opportunities (reduce manual work)
- Oversee, coordinate and manage exchange control activities of the Exchange Control team members, ensuring that the daily tasks are performed effectively
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
