Our client in Zambezia is looking for a Factory Manager to join their team within the FMCG Sector.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage all factory operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics
  • Ensure production targets are met in terms of volume, quality, and timelines
  • Implement and monitor operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Oversee feed formulation processes and ensure compliance with nutritional and quality standards
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Manage and develop factory staff, including performance management and training
  • Monitor plant performance metrics and prepare regular operational reports
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Animal Nutrition, Agribusiness, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in feed production or FMCG
  • At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of feed mill operations and production processes
  • Experience in managing large teams and complex operations
