General Manager – Technology & Digital Solutions

A fast-growing technology and digital solutions company, is seeking a visionary General Manager to lead operations in Mozambique. The General Manager will drive strategic direction, P&L performance, commercial growth, and operational excellence while leading multidisciplinary teams across public and private sector projects.

• Strategic Direction: Set and execute the company’s long-term growth vision, drive digital innovation, and report directly to the Board of Directors;
• Commercial Growth & P&L: Own annual sales and profitability targets while leading competitive tender bids, contract negotiations, and market expansion;
• Account Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with key public and private sector decision-makers to drive service quality and cross-selling;
• Operational Delivery: Oversee all client projects to ensure on-time, on-budget execution while continuously optimizing internal workflows and KPIs;
• Financial Oversight: Manage annual budgets, maintain healthy cash flow, approve major operational expenditures, and ensure regulatory compliance;
• People Leadership: Direct, mentor, and retain cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, and delivery to build a high-performance corporate culture;

• Education: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, with an MBA or Master’s degree highly preferred;
• Executive Experience: Possesses at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including 5+ years in a General Manager, Director, or P&L-owning role;
• Domain Expertise: Demonstrates a proven track record of scaling operations within the technology, ICT, consulting, or digital transformation sectors;
• Technical Fluency: Maintains strong executive-level oversight across Cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, software architecture, Agile methodologies, and enterprise systems;
• Language & Location: Requires full fluency in English (Portuguese is a strong plus;
