P&O Maritime Mozambique S.A. is currently looking for a dynamic and motivated HR Intern, based in Maputo, to join our team supporting key human capital initiatives across HR Policies, Learning & Development, and Strategic HR Projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented and self-driven recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a structured HR environment, while contributing with a fresh market perspective and adding tangible value to ongoing initiatives.
EDUCATION:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Full professional fluency in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written) is required.
HR KNOWLEDGE:
- Foundational understanding of HR principles and practices, including Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, and Employee Experience.
- Strong knowledge of Mozambican Labour Legal framework, with preferred familiarity with International Maritime Labour Law and relevant regulations.
TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCY:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong digital acumen with familiarity in automation and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate), artificial intelligence tools, and HR systems.
- Familiarity with basic project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel trackers).
