As we expand our footprint in Mozambique, we are looking for a passionate and professional Human Resource Officer to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary
The HR Officer will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day human resource operations in line with company policies and Mozambique labor laws. This includes recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and supporting a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment and selection process.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate employee welfare, training, and development programs.
- Provide guidance on HR issues to line managers and staff.
- Support payroll preparation and attendance tracking.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary processes professionally.
- Prepare and submit HR reports as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of Mozambique labor laws.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
- Fluency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English is essential.
