As we expand our footprint in Mozambique, we are looking for a passionate and professional Human Resource Officer to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

The HR Officer will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day human resource operations in line with company policies and Mozambique labor laws. This includes recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and supporting a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment and selection process.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate employee welfare, training, and development programs.
  • Provide guidance on HR issues to line managers and staff.
  • Support payroll preparation and attendance tracking.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary processes professionally.
  • Prepare and submit HR reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of Mozambique labor laws.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English is essential.
