Industrial Plumber
Karingani Game Reserve, a large private game reserve (150,000 ha) in Mozambique, is looking for a Highly Qualified Plumber to join our team. The position is based on the Reserve of Karingani in Massingir district, Province of Gaza
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems onsite
- Perform installation of plumbing systems at new properties
- Inspect previously installed plumbing systems
- Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
- Respond to plumbing issues from general contractors
- Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems installed
- Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
- Communicate well with team members and other stakeholders
- Manage a work log and keep detailed reports of work done
- Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep
Skills & Experience
- Completion of Secondary School is required and the completion of technical training from an accredited institute recognized as producing plumber technicians.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Mozambican Citizen
- Must be reliable, consistent, sober with habits and trustworthy work ethic.
- Portuguese and English -speaking, reading and writing.
