Olam Agri is recruiting a Junior Accountant, to be based in Matola, Mozambique.
Duties
- To be involved in entire accounting activities
- Controls, stock counting
- Accounts payables & receivables
- Wide-ranging reconciliations & reporting
- Banks and vendors, suppliers, and related stakeholders
- Accounts management and controls
- Capable to create required reports and explained
Requisites
- Certified Accountant through ICM or any other reputable college or a degree in Accounting & Auditing, Finance & Accounting or other Accounting Qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in reputed company preferably with FMCG
- Skills:
- Good knowledge of financial & accounting procedures and local accounting and reporting
- Knowledge of excel & powerpoint
- Good managerial and communication skills
- Bilingual (English & Portuguese)
- Willingness to work long hours when needed mainly during month end close
- Training:
- Other related and relevant professional qualifications
- Knowledge of any ERP software preferably SAP
- Process, controls, and reporting
